I love chocolate

Of course, no childhood would be complete if your mom didn't let you lick the beaters when she was done (of course she would leave just a little extra on there for you). I made a cake for work the other day and gave these to Alex and she loved them. She had chocolate all over. Too cute.

Holes for toes and Gymboree

On the way home from Grammy's house the other day, Alex decided she wanted her toes out. She had tights on so she took her shoes off made some holes in her tights and poked her toes through. I turned around thinking maybe she was sleeping and this is what I saw. I started cracking up-- she didn't know what to think. I think maybe she was a little bored back there.

Thanks to fellow blogger Mary Mia from Salsa in China, I found out about Gymboree classes so I took Alex for a free class to try it out and she loved it. She was clapping and laughing and dancing and playing. I definitely think the interaction with other kids will be a good thing for her. At the end of class, I signed her right up. We can go to as many classes as we want so Daddy can take her too. She especially loved the bubbles.

Sweet Girl

This is Alex being a good girl while Mommy takes a shower. I have started closing all the doors and putting up the baby gate, then I put her on my bed with her milk and a blanket and she is good as gold for about 20 minutes while she watches Dora or Handy Manny or Wonder Pets. Those are her favorites depending on what time it is.
Alex and I went to Willard to visit Grammy and GG (great grandma). We had a lot of fun. Alex loves her Grammy alot. She would hardly let her Grammy put her down.

This is Alex being a little lover girl giving her GG kisses.

Oops!!! I will have to teach her more about sitting like a lady

Guess who's going to be a big sister?

I AM!!!
Faye and I would like to let everyone know that we have decided to adopt another baby from China. We are in the first stages of the adoption process which is currently taking about 2 years from start to finish. We are very excited and decided to begin a new blog which will replace our other blog, China Girl. Please note the address of the new blog as I will eventually shut China girl down as we are not going to attempt to run 2 different blogs. Thanks and please follow along on our new adventure.
