Happy Thanksgiving

We have a lot to be thankful for this year. The biggest thing we are thankful for is the face you see to your left. She is the joy of our lives. She makes us laugh and cry. She is so sweet and loving. She is also very mischievous and onery and we wouldn't have it any other way. We love her so very much and thank God everyday that he gave us this beautiful darling girl. We love you , babycakes.
This has been a very exciting year for us and 2009 looks like it is going to be even more eventful and exciting. We look forward to giving thanks for that. We wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving Preschool Show

Alex loves her preschool. She loves her teachers and they love her. They tell me she is very well behaved. She loves the art table and circle time. This year they had a Thanksgiving potluck and all the kids in the different classes sang songs. Here is our little turkey singing and dancing.

This is the centerpiece that was on our table at the potluck and we used at home on our table for Thanksgiving.

We went to Maryland to visit my brother over the weekend. It was my neice, Addison's first birthday party. When we visit my brother we always go get crabs. It is an east coast thing. They are so good. So here are a few pictures of my family learning how to pick crabs and enjoying the fruits of their labor. My brother, Scott, is the pro crab picker. There is definitely an art to picking the meat from these little creatures and there is nothing like the prize of a huge piece of back fin meat. Yum O.
