Alex has been taking Chinese dance classes since the fall. She loves it and she loves her teacher Sisi. All the girls got to perform at our Chinese New Year Party. Oh, they were cute. So here is my girl in action.
This first picture is Alex with her best friend , Mia. These two are inseparable when they are together.

Lion Dance
We got to celebrate a lot for Chinese New Year this year. One evening we went to dinner with Todd's friend Matt to a really awesome Chinese restaurant. While we were there they had the Lion Dance. Poor Alex was terrified. She stayed in the corner holding tight to daddy . Now my girl Abby, she's not afraid of much, she wanted her picture taken with the Lion Dancers. They couldn't have turned out cuter. She is just fearless when it comes to that stuff.
Chinese New Year at school
So I went to the girl's school and helped them celebrate Chinese New Year. I think it is really important for the girls to be proud of their heritage. They dressed in their Chinese traditional dresses and I read a book about Chinese New Year and I taught them some Chinese words. I even attempted to make Panda cupcakes. A pathetic attempt I know but I really tried. They kinda look scary but the kids still ate them. It was fun. Thank you Mrs A and Miss W and Mrs H and Mrs R for allowing me to come have fun with the classes.
Looking up to big sis
Valentine's Day 2010
So-- I know I am way behind in my blogging but life has just been crazy. I took the girls out for a treat on Valentine's Day. We went to the mall to play in the play yard, have lunch, get lollipops at the candy store, and go to the Sweet&Sassy store for sparkly hairspray and sparkle stars on the cheeks. They even stopped to pose in their Valentine attire. ( aren't those tutus just the cutest).
Can you day DIVAS

Abby's 4th birthday
My baby turned 4 on Saturday. How did that happen. I can't believe she has been with us almost a year. Oh my, how she has grown. She loved her party. She loved dressing up and having pizza and opening presents. She has just acclimated to every little thing in amazing ways. Here are some pictures of her party with her China friends. This top picture makes me laugh. I love the expressions and all the accessories.
I am so behind on my blogging. We have had event after event and I have some wonderful pictures that I really need to share. Promise to do that soon.
In the meantime, Happy Birthday to my sweet baby girl.
