GOTCHA DAY-- 2 ND ANNIVERSARY

April 9 was the second anniversary of our Gotcha Day. A day that changed our lives in so many ways. The day our beautiful daughter was placed in our arms. My-- how she has grown and blossomed and enriched our lives. She is the sweetest girl and we love her so much. Here she is the day we were blessed to become her mommy and daddy

And here she is a big girl in her new toddler bed. (but she will always be our baby in our hearts). I told her to give me a thumbs up if she liked her new bed. I guess she liked it.

My Little Snow Angel

Well- here in Ohio we got almost 2 feet of snow yesterday. Alex was so excited. She couldn't wait to get out there and play so we put on her snow suit and out to make snow angels we did. Once I showed her how she kept dropping and flapping those arms and legs. She was so cute. When Daddy got up he asked her what she did today and she said "andels". Too cute.

Disney Princesses on Ice

My friend Stephanie and I took Alex and Audrey to see Disney Princesses on Ice. It was really good. Alex seemed to really like it but she kept turning to me and saying "Rella" for Cindarella. I guess that is the one she wanted to see the most and of course that was the one at the very end. Here she is with her princess wand. Almost all the kids were dressed up, I didn't know they did that or I would have put her in a princess dress. Oh well -- 1st time mom. We had alot of fun and the girls were really cute together.

Best Friends

After Disney Princesses on Ice, Steph, Steve, and I took the girls to Champps for lunch. They were so cute together. Alex is finally starting to say "Audrey" (Audee) and she asks for her all the time. They were hugging each other -- it was so cute.

America's favorite past time

This is what I walked in on the other day when I went to check on Alex after she said she had to go potty. She can get herself on and off the potty so I usually let her and then check on her in a few minutes. She told me "Book, Mommy". This toddler cuteness just cracks me up

When bad clothes happen to cute babies

Sooooo-- my daughter has become very independent and part of that independence has to do with her clothing. She wants to pick out her own clothes, dress herself, and call it a day. So these pictures are a product of her independence. Heaven help us all if you want her to wear something specific and she has it in her mind that she is not going to wear it. I asked her if I could take her picture and she immediately said yes and sat and did these poses. Hilarious!!!!

My friends recently came to visit and we had a great time. I made dinner for them and 3 of my friends from work, we went to the spa and downtown to a new restarant, and we went to Chinese New Year. Here are a few pictures from their visit. Aunt Suzy above and Aunt Catie below

This is the group I had over for dinner at my house.
