Here is my baby waiting patiently outside her class room on the first day of preschool. She was so excited. She marched right in, said good morning to her teacher, put her backpack away and started to play. I waited a few minutes and said " I'm going to go, is that okay". She looks up, barely missing a beat and says "Bye Mommy". I still waited a few minutes and she looked for me a few times and waved. When I picked her up, her teacher said she did great and that she wanted to be the teacher's helper all the time. That's my girl-- always wants to help people. She is doing what I taught her.
