Thanksgiving Blessings

HAPPY TURKEY DAY

The girls had a Harvest Potluck at their school last week and they made their cute headgear in their classes. They both love school very much and we have been blessed to find a preschool that is wonderful. They both love their teachers and are learning new things by leaps and bounds. Abby is learning her colors and more words than you can imagine each day. Alex amazes me with the details of what she has learned each day. She told me about the "flower" boat that the pilgrims came over on. So sweet.

My Little Pony Party

The girls recently went to a birthday party for their friend, Chloe. It was a My Little Pony party. They had a fabulous time. Among the many things they got to do was ride a cute little pony. Both Abby and Alex hopped right on and clopped along with big ole smiles on their face.


Sooo cute.

Mom's Night Out

Our China playgroup had a mom's night out last night. It was nice to sit and fellowship with other moms. We also learned about and participated in a Chinese Tea Ceremony where we learned the history of tea and sampled 3 different teas. The picture to the left is the only picture I took of the night. Kind of cool. After the ceremony, we got to sit and chat about the challenges and joys of adoption. It is comforting to know that we all share the same worries. What a great support group.

Michigan visit

We went to visit our friends the M family. As usual, we had a fun time. The girls just love all their kids and the mommies and daddys really like each other too. Of course we have arranged at least one marriage of one of our girls to these cute sweet boys.
