Ohi*o State Fair

We took the kids to the fair today. We were there from about 11 am to 8:30 pm. They had a great time. They laughed and played and rode rides all day. The crazier the ride the more they loved it. Here are some pictures from our fair adventure.

A surprise in the mail

I don't know that I shared that Abby was in foster care and that she was sponsored. I was able to obtain some pictures and reports from the place that sponsored her. They are called Grace & Hope for Children and they sponsor many children in China. They sent me a cd today of some pictures and reports of how she did while under their sponsorship. It is wonderful to have this little bit of history for Abby. Here are a few pictures they sent.

She was about 18 months old in the first picture.
The second picture is of her foster parents.
The third picture cracks me up. She has the squatty open pants on that most kids wear in China. They are all potty trained very early.
The last picture is of her foster brother and foster mom.

Thanks to Michelle who works for Grace & Hope and has an adopted daughter from WuXue as well. She got me this info and I will forever be grateful to her for finding us.

Just a side note as to how God works. Both of my children have the middle names Grace and Hope.

My cute little Mei Mei

Well ........ she has been home 3 months now and she is doing awesome. She has come a long way in 3 months and it is hard for me to believe she hasn't been with us forever. She just fits right in like she was always meant to be here. I think that is how God planned it.
Here are a few of her little quirks and cute things:

She mimmicks every thing Alex does. Monkey see Abby do is what I always say.
She loves her some Daddy now. She was tenative at first but she is definitely becoming a Daddy's girl.
She eats...... alot. She loves meat, oranges, cereal, bananas, crackers, water, noodles of any kind.
She is very easy going.
She is very quick to smile and grin. Especially if she is in trouble and trying to get out of it.
She loves Dora and Elmo.
She loves her bathing suit. The way she says bathing suit is hilarious. She would wear it 24/7 if we would let her.
She loves to play in the water.
She is a little daredevil. I think she will be my adrenalin junkie.
She is a KLUTZ. I don't think she has had scab free knees since we have been home.
She loves her nana, poppie, and mimi.
She is obsessed with shoes...... she calls them " yoos"
She may not speak much English but she knows what manners are and uses them. I love the way she says thank you.
She loves me to sing to her. She will sing with me too. ABC's, If your happy and you know it,
Bumble bee song.
She doesn't like mommy or daddy too far out of her sight.
She toots and laughs and says "scoos me"
We have told her she is cute so much that she looks in the mirror and says " I coot" all the time.
When she smells something bad, she holds her nose and laughs and says " oooo pee yew "
She loves music and dancing and shaking her booty.
She is very obedient most of the time.
She is starting to make friends and remembers their names and asks for them all the time.
She can count to 15 by herself.
She loves the zoo, the conservatory, and the pool.

I guess that is about it. She sure is sweet and we love her sooooo much.

Fr*nklin P*rk Conserv*tory

My MIL and I took the girls to the conservatory last weekend. I think we had a lot of fun. These are my 2 favorited pictures from the almost 3oo that I took. Yes, 300. That is almost obnoxious, no, that is obnoxious but what can I say. I am a mamarazzi through and through. They might as well just get used to it.
